I am sorry to bother you but I believe I was wrongfully given a ticket while I was parked completely legally at _______________. As you can see in the pictures below, the area in question has 2 clear and visible signs which dictate the are that is affected by the permit parking zone. In the middle of the two signs (where the white car is) is not marked and is thus general parking and not subject to a permit. The street runs North-South and the Southern most sign points south and is marked permit parking while the northern most sign points north and is marked permit parking, so the area in between is void and is thus not permit parking. I was parked in this area in between and therefor am not required to have a permit to park there. I have had to dispute this exact location several times before and understand that it is potentially tricky area for my precinct's officers to understand. It is unfortunate that we both have to waste time on this issue and I am writing a letter to city planners to ask them to find a way to mark it more clearly. The pictures below show the area as clear as my camera would allow. The white car is the car/spot in question, exactly where I got my ticket. I hope you can see given my photos of the signs that this area is not subject to permit requirements. I appreciate your time and understanding.
